How to share and collaborate on your ModelBench chats
Overview
ModelBench allows you to easily share your playground chats with others, facilitating collaboration and feedback on your prompt engineering efforts.
How to Share a Chat
- In the Playground, work on your prompt and interact with the models as needed.
- When you’re ready to share, locate the “Share” button in the Playground interface.
- Click the “Share” button to generate a public link for your chat.
Features of Shared Chats
- Public Link: The generated link can be shared with anyone, allowing them to view your chat.
- Live Updates: By default, the shared chat remains up-to-date with any further changes you make to the original chat.
- Continuation: Users with the link can continue the chat and experiment with the prompt on their own.
Privacy Options
- You can switch off the public link if you no longer want the chat to be accessible.
- Consider removing any sensitive information before sharing your chat.
Best Practices for Sharing
- Purpose: Clearly state the purpose of your prompt at the beginning of the chat for context.
- Annotations: Add comments or explanations within the chat to guide viewers through your thought process.
- Iterations: If you’ve gone through multiple iterations, consider sharing the final version along with key intermediate steps.
- Feedback Requests: If you’re looking for specific feedback, mention it in the chat before sharing.
Collaborating with Shared Chats
- Use shared chats to get input from other prompt engineers or team members.
- Share your experiments with the community to gather insights and alternative approaches.
- Utilize shared chats for educational purposes, demonstrating effective prompt engineering techniques.
